SIMPLE AND SAFE VALENTINE’S DATE AT SM BULACAN MALLS

Although not a public holiday, Valentine’s Day is undoubtedly the most celebrated feast day of a saint to celebrate love and affection.

Whether you’ve been together for months or years, new lovers, engaged, or married, there is no secret that coming up with some great ideas for Valentine’s Day can be stressful, perhaps even more so amid the coronavirus pandemic.

While things may seem different this year, there are still ways to make the love month extra special for your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend or even someone special you’re not dating…yet. As the saying goes, if you really want to do something, you’ll find a way, especially for someone so dear to you.

For the past years, malls are the go-to place of most lovers particularly the young ones - watching movies at the cinema, buying each other’s gifts and flowers, and dining at their favorite restaurants, then here comes the public health crisis.

The good news is, shopping malls are now redefining customer experience to address the safety and minimum health standards as well as the constantly changing needs of customers.

To celebrate love month, SM City San Jose del Monte turned its plant exhibition at the mall atrium into a garden of love, where customer can buy a bouquet of fresh or dried flowers, or just a simple potted plant for their loved ones. Inside is a designated dining area where they can bring their take-out food from their favorite restaurants and be surrounded by ornamental plants curated to give the Valentine vibes.

Adapting to the “new normal”, SM City Baliwag also creates extended dining area that let diners create memories through its interiors, designed with royal red accents and surrounded by nostalgic toy soldiers. The attraction not only provides space for eating but also serves as a perfect spot to take Instagram-worthy photos.

The Curbside Coffee at SM City Marilao likewise got your dinner dates covered. This cozy patio makes dining conversation more meaningful. It also has a pop-up kiosks for customer’s ordering convenience.

With both convenience and safety in mind, SM malls in Marilao, Baliwag, and San Jose del Monte are strictly implementing the minimum health protocols such as wearing of face mask and face shields, observe physical distancing, and even encouraging their customers to bring their own handy alcohol or sanitizers.
