"4 Days" Directed By Adolfo Alix Jr Showing Exclusively at Ayala Cinemas Starting October 18

"Love is love" and knows no bounds as they say. For the LGBT community, sometimes what defines you is your first love. It also defines what you like in a partner. If things do not work out, it teaches you lessons in life and love.

Almost everybody wants a love that will last, the type that will be nourished & cherised, and is what is in store in a movie starring Mikoy Morales and Sebastian Castro and directed by Adolfo Alix Jr: 4 Days.

The setting is in the prestigious University of the Philippines Diliman, where a freshman, Mark (Mikoy Morales)  meets his roommate Derek (Sebastian Castro) on his first day in college. Through 4 years of college together, every Valentine's day is a memorable experience for the two as they try to get through their feelings for each other while staying inside the closet.

For those who have been to relationships from within the closet, this flick is going to  hit you to the bones with feels.

According to Team Magazine,  “4 Days” is a love story full of cautionary actions that demand to break free.

“There is the irony that what you love needs to be hidden, especially from parents who could take your access to each other away. There is the tragedy of this source of happiness being one you deny in front of your friends, allowing a lover’s doubt to set in.”

“Kinabukasan” to screen alongside “4 days”

As an added feature, viewers will also get the chance to see “Kinabukasan” alongside "4 Days". It stars  Superstar Nora Aunor and Alden Richards and is a short film that won Best Short Film in the 2015 Gawad Urian, filmed in 2014, it was part of the short film category in the 2014 Cinema One Originals and at the 2015 Hanoi International Film Festival. The short flick begins with Ernest (Nora Aunor) who after losing his lover, meets Niles, the son of his lover who has come to collect his things. What might seem as a simple encounter gets filled with tension, causing the two to discover what lies underneath the sadness of losing the one you love the most.
