The long-running pop culture festival will feature collegiate and open esports competitions, educational activities like workshops and panel, cosplay, game developer and tech exhibitors, special guests, and more.
ILOILO, Philippines - ISC Events, in partnership with Globe Telecom, is beyond thrilled to announce CONQuest Festival, scheduled for July 4 - 5 at the Iloilo Convention Center.
Going even stronger in its fourth consecutive year, CONQuest Festival is the largest enthusiast event in the country. Year after year, CONQuest has brought together different pop culture communities - such as gaming, anime, comics, technology, vlogging - for a weekend full of fun and learning. Compared to other conventions, CONQuest emphasizes education and community development as its core tenets.
Enabled by the partnership with Globe Telecom and the resounding success of the convention in the last year, ISC Events aims to take CONQuest to the next level with new attractions and high-profile guests for the projected 12,500 attendees of all fandoms. This includes:
- The much-awaited national finals of the Esports AcadArena collegiate league for League of Legends and Dota 2
- The Iloilo Gaming Open featuring open tournaments for hit titles such as NBA2K, Mobile Legends, Tekken, and more
- The Brand and Tech Expo where attendees and guests get to try out the latest tech from presenting brands
- A Student-Streamer Showdown where 16 student leaders are paired up with 16 of the hottest streamers and influencers competing for charity
- Cosplay Clash - where cosplayers bring gaming, anime and comics come to life in CONQuest
- Indie Arena - a dedicated space where indie developers to showcase their craft for the general public to try out and explore
- QuestTalks - a series of industry panels and workshops by resource speakers from digital media industry leaders across the world
- A Retro Arcade giving attendees a blast from the past with dope gaming tech from the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s.
Several high-profile members of the enthusiasts media industry will be present to host educational panels, performances, and fanmeets. This includes top streamers and vloggers such as Riku, Shin Boo, Suzzysaur and Buunja. World-class artists, cosplayers, and industry leaders will also be in attendance to add further value to the event, such as Aeonix, Little Things PH, and Hunghang.
