The SM Store of SM City San Jose del Monte donated over 2,906 books and school supplies to Paradise Farms Community School to help share the joy and value of reading to the children of San Jose del Monte. The SM Store Assistant Branch Manager Maria Venessa Udaundo and Branch Accounting Manager Aris Principe led the distribution of books and school supplies.

Thousands of students in the province of Bulacan recently received gifts of learning – books and brand new school supplies - through the SM Store’s recent SM Share Movement Donate-A-Book campaign.

Customer response was overwhelming as the SM Share Movement Donate-A-Book campaign was able to gather a total of 15,495 books and thousands of new school supplies from The SM Store Branches of SM City Marilao, SM City Baliwag and SM City San Jose Del Monte. These books and supplies were in turn donated in public schools in Bulacan. Some of the recipients were Guiguinto Central School, Prenza National Highschool, Capihan Elementary School, San Rafael East Central School and Paradise Farms Community School.

The SM Store in Baliwag shared a meaningful moment with students and faculty of San Rafael East Central School by giving away books and school supplies through the SM Share Movement Donate-A-Book campaign. Other beneficiary of the campaign includes Capihan Elementary School. A total of 5,444 books and school supplies were donated by The SM Store in Baliwag.

As recalled, The SM Store, SM Foundation and Stationery, set up booths in all The SM Store branches nationwide where customers could donate books and school supplies for various public school areas. In exchange, shoppers will receive 50 pesos discount coupon for every donation made.
Elated students of Prenza National Highschool in Marilao raise up their hands with their new school supplies that The Store in SM City Marilao donated. Kids’ warm smiles brought meaning to SM Share Movement Donate-A-Book campaign. A total of 7,145 books and school supplies were donated to Guiguinto Central School and Prenza National Highschool

The SM Share Movement Donate-A-Book campaign is one of the many ways The SM Store and its customers team up to do their share for the less fortunate. Other projects are Share-A-Shoes and Share-A-Toy campaign.
