Morissette and Tanya Manalang, two of today's brightest female stars onstage, are set to stage their first major concert together entitled Platinum: World's Favorite Hit Songs Live! at Resorts World Manila's (RWM) Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) on May 6, 8:00pm.
Both young, beautiful and blessed with voices that have awed audiences from around the globe, Morrisette and Tanya have accomplished so much in their young careers than most artists today.
Morisette first made waves after winning TV5's Star Factor in 2012. With her vocal range that covers Wicked's Defying Gravity' to Disney's "Let It Go" to Heart's "What About Love", Morissette rises up to her title as one truly exceptional star.
Born and raised in Cebu, Morissette has reaped awards from the PMPC Star Awards, the M.O.R. Pinoy Music Awards, the National Consumer Affairs Foundation's Seal of Excellence Awards, the Wish 1007.5 Music Awards, and has performed in sold out concerts nationwide.
Her cover of Little Mix's "Secret Love Songs" registered over 35 million views on Youtube sealing her reputation as a true star with a wide following.
This time around, Morissette expands her repertoire as she shares the stage with another headliner, Tanya Manalang.
Tanya's role of Kim in Cameron McKintosh's 2014 rvival of Miss Saigon at the West End polished her craft as an actress and marked her as one of the royalties of Philippines theater.
To broaden her acting prowess, Tanya was given a scholarship by Sir Cameron Mackintosh at the Arts Educational School in London while she was into the grueling auditions for the musical.
Starting at an early age, Tanya has performed in such musical productions as Godspell, Whistle Down The Wind Footloose, In the Heights, KAOS, The Sound of Music, and The King And I prior to landing an alternate role as Kim in Miss Saigon.
Last year, Tanya landed the lead female roles in acclaimed local musicals Rak of Aegies and Tick, Tick...Boom!, and shared the stage with rocker/thespian Mig Ayesa in RWM's twinbill offering Curtains Up!, which awed audiences with repertoire of hit songs from Broadway and West End musicals.

19 April 2017 - Manila: COLOR MANILA’S CM CHALLENGE RUN, which is the biggest obstacle fun run in the country, will be back in Cebu City on May 14, 2017, at the Cebu Business Park in Ayala Cebu.
“We are more than excited to bring back the CM Challenge franchise to Cebu, and we are expecting thousands of participants once again to take part in our trademark colorful run,” says COLOR MANILA VP Justine Cordero.
Participants may choose between four (4) race categories, 3K, 5K, 10K and the Yakult-sponsored 16K race. They also have the option of choosing between the Deluxe and the Trooper race kit. The Deluxe kit, priced at Php 750, includes a white singlet, race bib, sunglasses, finisher’s medal and color packet. While the Trooper Kit, priced at Php 1,050, includes a colored singlet, race bib, sunglasses, finisher’s medal, color packet, drawstring bag and headwear. Participants of the 16K in the meantime would get the following items - a white singlet, race bib, sunglasses, color packet, Yakult finisher’s medal, Yakult finisher’s singlet, and Yakult pillow.
“Previous participants can expect more obstacles, mazes and challenges from this race, as we have put more exciting elements into it. As for first time runners, they can look forward to the color festival and various color stations which are worthwhile stopovers, just to take selfies and group photos with friends. E&W salon is the first of the two branches put up by Emilie Ronquillo, an engineer by profession. Within the salon is House of OOTD which is a fashion boutique.
I tried it myself; Arabica beans from Mount Apo brewed and poured straight to my cup. The first thing my taste buds had encountered though was the seafood pasta that pretty got my attention. At Stairway Café and Salon, my breakfast was beyond ordinary. Suman with latik was such a sweet treat. The owner is nostalgic about Suman since it was her hardworking mother's bread and butter.
The food was a plus. Not only the kids will be mesmerized by the place but practically people of all ages. Dine in Japanese-style if you prefer. Board games are available to pass the time away or simply plug in your lappy and connect to free Wi-Fi.This is solid proof that premium food and excellent service isn't always expensive.
Trying out their salon services was part of my day's list. They offer hair, body, and facial treatments but since I can only stay in Kawit, Cavite for a day, I got a Radio frequency facial treatment packaged with basic facial and the results were immediately noticeable. I skipped the haircut because I did not need one, however, I joined my friends for a pedicure and footspa haha! Talk about first time! Now I understand the buzz about foot spa. Oh man! my soles were smooth as silk and I'm definitely having it regularly. The good treatment from the staff made the salon experience perfect.
As part of giving back and as an advocacy, they feed and teach some less fortunate kids at

Easter is an event to celebrate the
resurrection of Christ after His crucifixion. As being usually done
we celebrate it by finding the eggs hidden. To make this more fun

special prices, in kind or cash. Aside from that there will also be
other games.
This will be on the 16th of
April in between 1 pm to 3 pm.
To join you have to purchase any food
item minimum of 100 pesos, for each 100 pesos you can find one egg
per 100, if you have 1000 then you can find ten eggs and you can
avail all the prices on it. No age limit for this. then there will be
sharing also about our faith to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

April is a busy month for a good number
of people in the food service industry as Madrid Fusion 2017 takes
place. From April 6 – 8, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center in
Pasay City, people from near and far places come together to share
their passion for food. Part of the delegation representing
Calabarzon is the chef behind the placed tagged as “definitely
not your ordinary food find among the rising places at Tagaytay
Ridge”; this is Chef Thomas Murillo of Wild Juan.
His love for food started young and he
took his first step towards it during his sophomore year as a
Consular and Diplomatic Affairs student at the College of Saint
Benilde. He decided to take commercial cooking and culinary arts at
First Gourmet Academy and had his apprenticeship at 2nds after. This
lead him further by becoming one of the pioneering member behind
Paprika PH and years later his own restaurant at a family-owned place
at Tagaytay Ridge. Wild Juan is born.

Wild Juan bears the
concept of East meets West and is delivered with the hospitality of
Filipinos in the Southern part of Luzon. His food creations are
something that we are all familiar with but are delivered with a
twist and flair. Perfect sample are the Sisig Paksiw, Krispy
Kasoy Kare-Kare (KKK) and Gumbulalo. Three common dishes but
comes with a new level of flavor and goodness due to techniques and
passion.
Learning never ends for Chef Thomas as
he earns his NCII Commercial Cooking and ServSafe: Food Safety &
Sanitation certificates. He pushes himself to be the best and at par
to the world, thus making his quality for food high and passion much
higher. He doesn’t stop there as he then shares his knowledge and
passion this coming Madrid Fusion 2017 to foreign delegates and
proudly represent Calabarzon.

April 5th marks the day for Kathniel's bloggers conference. Coincidentally, the couple has partnered on screen for 5 years as well. Members of the press and digital media were invited and the room was full. Following the success of "Barcelona: A Love Untold" is "Can't help falling in Love" and fans are sure to be flocking the cinemas. The conference was attended by Direk Mae, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. There's always a first time and this was my first to be starstruck due to Kathryn's beauty. There was a wide range of topics thrown at the three. Family, love teams, annulment, and relationships were just a few of the questions.
Watching the two answer each question and completing each other's sentences shows how they much they understand and know each other. They may have different opinions on each subject matter but they also have lots of ideas that they have in common. Daniel explained about how they handle misunderstandings and who apologizes first. He makes sure that everything is fixed before the day ends. Laughter ensued when Daniel revealed the name of Kathryn's upcoming Nail Salon which is "Kathnails". Meanwhile, Direk Mae stated she is enjoying the early stages of her married life. Can't Help Falling In Love is showing on theaters this April 15th
